Whether he’s traversing the globe in search of the mysteries that abound, or braving immediate post 9-11 fears to share his knowledge with students in Dubai, or skillfully guiding one on a personal journey of self-discovery, the total congruency and focus with which this man walks the line is an inspiration. John possesses the wisdom to allow for many roads to the one truth and the grace to guide one on their own personal path. At first blush John twinkles with a contagious joie de vivre. And beneath that gift is a highly intuitive man who plants the seeds of empowerment everywhere he goes.

Tamara (Tami) Tozeland MSW, RSW is a mother of 3, a partner, friend, daughter, and sister. She has always been a nurturer and healer. Tami began a journey with Birth Roots Doula Collective in 2004 as a birth doula. Over her 12 years with Birth Roots Tami became a childbirth educator, HypnoBirthing instructor, birth doula trainer, mentor, and owner of the business. She has loved every minute with the doulas and families she supported and learned from. As Tami's interests expanded beyond birth, her life long learning journeys lead her to pursue a master's degree in social work. As a clinical social worker, she continues to work with people in the capacity of therapist. Tami has formal learning and experience in several therapy modalities such as hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical therapy, and narrative therapy but most importantly, she brings her heart to every human interaction. Tami is excited to journey with clients toward improved mental health whether birth related or not
